- 3-4skinless chicken breasts, you can also slice 2 chicken breasts horizontally
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 1/2teaspoongarlic powder
- 2tablespoonolive oil
- 3tablespoon unsaltedbutter, divided
- 1/2onion, chopped
- 5garliccloves, minced
- 1 tablespoonItalian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon Sriracha sauce
- Juice of one lemon
- 1/3cuplow sodium chicken broth
- Chopped fresh parsley and lemon slices for garnish

Directions
1. To make the Instant Pot Lemon Garlic Chicken Breasts: Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
2. Press the Sauté function (Normal setting in the Instant Pot) and add the olive oil to the insert.
3. Place chicken breasts in the Instant Pot and allow to sear on each side for 2 minutes, or until golden brown. You may have to work in batches depending on the size of the chicken breasts. Once the chicken is browned, remove it from Instant Pot and set it aside.
4. Melt butter in the Instant Pot and stir in the onions and garlic. Add lemon juice to deglaze the insert pan. Cook for 1 minute then add Italian seasoning, red chili pepper flakes, Sriracha, and chicken broth.
5. Place the chicken breasts back into the Instant Pot, close the lid, and make sure to turn the valve to SEAL. Select the Manual or Pressure Cook mode and adjust the timer to 7 minutes. The Instant Pot should take about 5-10 minutes to come to pressure and start counting down.
6. When time is over, allow to naturally release for 2-3 minutes then push the valve to RELEASE, then remove the lid.Sprinkle the Instant Pot Lemon Garlic Chicken Breasts with chopped parsley, and serve hot with your favorite sides – We recommend these delicious grilled zucchinior zucchini noodles, cauliflower rice, pasta.
