kardphan 1st String Posts: 1,728 | Post: #9 It sure did seem like it with the effort they played with, I mean it seemed like they played as if they could just step on the field and compete. You seen no emotion no nothing, but I guess getting your tails kicked can make you a little lifeless. What kills me is all the UofL bangwagon fans on the boards on suicide watch. I can't believe alot of them actually believe we were going to the rose bowl. I believe we had a opportunity, but alot of them TRULY believed we were going. They really set themselves up for failure, we still have a great team, but this is just a humbling loss. We didn't respond when we had our backs to the wall, and it reminded me of the UK game when they came storming back, its like they didn't have a clue. The defense played like they didnt' have a clue what USF's offense was doing. The amazing thing is though we have 493 yrds and 14 points. 100+ yrds in penalties. How many times have we done that in the Bobby Petrino era. Most of that was UsF defense but alot of it was the offensive line killing long drives. I was probably more dissappointed with the O-line play than anything. Those guys are seniors and should not be getting called for holding like that, if you don't miss assignments you won't get called for holding. Bush would of had over 100 yrds if the line would of kept the drives going. | ||
